Following the footsteps of the ‘Gulliver’s Travels’ – where the main character shipwrecked in a piece of land habited by a miniature population – the Spanish photographer Juan Sanchez Castillo recreated a similar situation. Focusing on the face of a model, Juan shot different scenes using the power of make-up to turn human flesh into a living landscape, and tiny statues to make the whole scene as lively as possible.

From a gardener cutting the grass, to a group of painters at work, the Spanish photographer managed to take a real unique set of pictures, and create different situation where the miniature statues seem to be real human beings.
