Written by Valentina Romano
Vyacheslav Mischenko is a Ukrainian photographer who has been recently gaining popularity on the web thanks to his incredible snails’ shots.
Indeed, Mischenko focuses on nature photography, capturing anything and everything that is outdoors and natural – which means no buildings, cars or cities. In particular, the 48 years old photographer likes to shoot all the insects and small animals that he can find in the woods, and natural environments around the Zhytomyr Oblast region, which is where his hometown is located.
His spectacular snails’ shots, capture small snails during their ‘daily routines’.
During an interview for the Daily Mail, Vyacheslav Mischenko explained that his interest for shooting small creatures began when he was just a small kid:
As a child, my father taught me to hunt mushrooms near my home and we would always come across all manner of bugs and creatures. As I got older and my interest in photography grew, I decided I wanted to catch these magical scenes on camera. The average person misses so much, it’s only when you look a little closer that you’ll find many moments such as the ones I capture.
Enjoy these beautiful shots!
